Just thought I would give everyone a little info about the wagon.
It belongs to my middle son Anthony. It was a first attempt at redoing an automobile. Everything was done at home in our garage, by Anthony myself, & my other sons. The only thing that was farmed out was getting the drive shaft shortened.
Anthony did the wood graining and body painting himself.
Needless to say I'm pretty proud of my boys.
Some of the work we did was to install a 250 cubic inch motor and automatic transmission from a chevelle donor. A mustang II front end from Street Rod Engineering along with disc brakes. The rear leaf suspension is also from Street Rod Engineering. A mid 80s Gm rearend is used.
Anthony, added sound deadner in all the body panels and roof, to make for a quieter ride.
It's a fun car to drive, so I'm enjoying it while I can because in a few weeks, the wagon is going to be shipped to Hawaii, where Anthony is living. Anthony assures me, that I won't have to rent a vehicle, when I go over to Honolulu to visit.
Guess now, I'll have to start work on my pickup truck or something.!!!!!!!!!

      Aloha

I know that this comment comes a bit after your original post but I just joined the forum. I'm guessing that your woody is on Oahu by now. I've got a 51 woody and thought it was the only one around these parts. It was built by a hotrod shop in LA many years ago and its showing its age, I'm in the prosess of starting a frame up reconstrustion and I'd like to get together and compare notes and check out your sons woody wagon. I'll look forward to a reply, Mahalo
