I do not cut OEM 1940 Ford parts. So, I milled out an exact fit gauge insert from a piece of 2 inch thick aluminum stock. The AUTOMETER gauges mount from the rear. The turn signal and high beam indicators are LED/fiber-optic. The OEM grill hides an ALPINE sound system with a remote control. The normally hidden cup holder, in the glove-box, is VW Jetta. The original high-beam indicator is now a CEL. I made the lower valance to hold the VINTAGE AIR controls and vents, air pressure gauges for the suspension system, nd a boost gauge.
