Here is a nice side picture of the new paint with the wheels still in a black epoxy primer. The cutouts have been made for a '32 style gauge cluster and a radio in the '32 style dash. A third hole may be necessary for placing the speedometer directly in front of the steering wheel. The rear tires are 735/75R15 on an 8" Maverick rear and the stock width fenders just barely cover the tires. The '29 body must be narrower than the '30-'31 body. At the recent Richmond NSRA 2006 meet I saw the exact same tire size with an 8" rear on a '30 roadster and the tires were within the fenders better. Here the coilover shocks are in the top hole with maximum jack up for fender clearance but maybe later I can try the middle hole to see if the edge of the fenders hit the tire on a bounce.· Date: · Views: 5,643
