I got a couple 'Bomber' seats off Ebay for $100/ shipped. there really vintage 1970's swivel stool chairs, but the stool parts are gone ( also 1970's gold fabric so they gotta be reapoulstered ).. but there is a problem I really did not think about when I bought them. by calculations, my hotrod body is getting built to fit me ( by me ), and that includes a 12" seat riser to put my head at a comfy sight level. the body is 48" wide, 47" long and 47.5" tall.. seats are 19" wide, 18" deep and 22" high, and the cowl is 16" deep.. how am I going to make a 12" rise on bomber seats look good?
