Replacing Power Steering Fluid
I just fixed a leak in the power steering hose and was wondering if I need to bleed the system before re-filling it with fluid.

It's not necessary, just fill it. If some air is trapped in the system, crank the wheel back and forth a few times, shut it off and the air bubbles should rise to the surface in the resevoir. Repeat this a couple of times if necessary and with driving, the air should purge from the fluid.

Actually, if you raise the front of the car up and turn from side to side, it will get a good 90% of the air out. I had to replace a PS hose over the summer, and it works wellRight engine, Wrong Wheels
