I will agree with you mike if he hook up the positive to the battery and it gives a spark,starts welding the clamp to the post and begins to start the motor.would tell me he has a bare wire some ware shorting out and if it trying to start this was his problem to begin with he needs to look for any wires that are bare that are laying up agiinst maybe a header pipeQuote:
