Get a sand blaster, parts washer, brake lathe, wheel balancer. Those right there would help tons especially for maintanance (sp?) work. A fridge is nice, I have one in our garage and it gets filled completely up with drinks and get the drinks from sams in huge packs. Best place I think for drinks and things like that. If I were you I would focus on one thing at a time. I know I don't have a shop or nothing and no experience with having my own shop. I think you should just try getting the shop built with 220v outlets and tons of them. Lots of lighting! get that done and then start adding and start doing one thing at a time and you'll eventually get there. Like me... right now I am doing powder coating (haven't started quite yet but am going to in two weeks) and I am going to do powder coating, build my oven, build spray booth, build a sand blaster and just add and add and am not going cheap on nothing. If you go cheap you just end up spending more in the end. I am hoping one day I will have my own shop. It will take a long time since I need to go to school, work for someone but still doing my own little thing at the same time and just work at one thing at a time. I think you should learn everything first and get tons of experience because if you are wanting a shop for a business then noone will wan't to have someone that has little experience working on their car.
Well that's all I can think of right now and I have to take off for a while but might add a little more when I am not busy.
