if you can afford it chevy5 the store bought harness is nice, but i used the factory harness on mine just so i could say i did it and the lt1 harness was about 600.00, but it turned out ok. if you get me all of the info. about what car, motor size and trans. youve got, ill get you a wiring diagram, its only about 3 hot wires that goes to the computer. :cool:Quote:

you could me my new best freind. the harness is out of a 90 chevy pickup with a 350 and a 700R4 trans and it will be going to a 348 with a 700R4 trans. the computer serv. no. is 1227747 and the trans has a speed sensor, not the spedo cable.what sensors i need to keep and what ones to get rid of would also be very helpful. i know i need the O2 , knock , oil pressure, temp and map sensors but there is others i dont know about . thank you very much for any info.
let me get this stright you wont to take the EFI off of a 350. 90 chev pick-up and put it on a 348 motor? what kind of intake is on the 350 and whats on the 348? :confused:Quote:

ps i see its a TBI now, how do you mount the TB to the 348 intake? make an adaptor.
it will be monday before i can get the diagram.
Holley makes an adapter plate to go form square bore intake to TBI base. the biggest hangup is the ditributor, i am waiting on word from Lamar Waldon Automotive, they supposedly make a spacer kit to make the standard chey distributor fit in 348-409's. if not i will contunue with plan A which will involve some machine work to let the 348 dist accept the shaft and guts from the small block dist.
ok if nothing happen ill have the diagram mon nite, :cool:Quote:

i think i can get it bigger if i mess around some if i cant, i'll let you know . thanks again for the help
i was just sobbing uncontrollably because i honed the walls in the 348 and the slight rust pititng in a hole was worse than i though  . now i have to either get the bore resleeved or bore the whole thing out which would be a shame because the other 7 holes are perfect. :HMMM:
how about if i send you a attach file give me your reg email and ill do that. where is the hole?:confused:Quote:

what i meant by the hole was the cyl sleeve, there isnt a hole through it, it just didnt clean up as well as i liked, but you did make me feel a little better by reminding me how bad it could be ;)
i'll send you a private message with my e-mail.
