65 IMPALA SS ,,,ANY BODY KNOWS HOW TO REMOVE THE BODY OFF FROM THE CHASSI WHAT I HAVE TO DO FIRSTARMANDO A.

remove the bumpers and you take off the front clip and then remove the doors and then there should be about 8 bolts that hold the body on the frame , don't forget to remove all the brake lines and gas lines ,did you get a manule on the car ?that would help alot .good luckDO IT NICE NOT TWICE

I have a 350 engine ,but its built to race and Im not sure what trani to put on, Iwant to put 350 turbo or 400 turbo I don't know if this is right .. if anyone can help me with this .....ARMANDO A.

Dont forget the wire harnesses and the hand brake cable. Also the brake line going up to the master cylinder. You dont have to take the doors off to take the body off the frame.

this might help for your click on this for all of the info on your engine & heads trans info might be in here also you will need to get the numbers from the drivers side rear of the block and under the valve covers , the trans you have might have is a 350 or 400 turbo , but it may have a power glide in it also you can tell by the shape of the trans pan,
how far are you going to go with the restoration on this (sand blast the boby ? get it dipped ? ect )the reason i said to remove the doors is so it would be a little lighterDO IT NICE NOT TWICE
