I am building a 48 Ford and I need help. I am going to wire it 12 Volt. Has anyone done this. I have questions like: Where should I buy the harness and which one?
What do I have to do with the voltage regulator? I am going to leave the dash orginal with the orginal gages. I am not going to make the windows power. I am going to put a newer stereo in. I am going to look for a alternator that looks like the generator. Does anyone know of a book that will take me through how to wire this up step by step. I do have some knowlege of wiring. I did my 32 ford but it has a big block in it with updated everything for 12 volt. If someone could give me a email address if you did a ford with a 12 Volt system so I can ask you some questions that would be great. Thankyou in advance for your help.
