Contemplating an upgrade of the braking system on my 34 Ford roadster and was considering using Wilwood brake kits. I believe that I have the rear brakes figured out, replacing the Ford factory drums, but the front has me somewhat baffled...... The car has a solid tube dropped front axle with disc brakes and 14" wheels now. The Wilwood rep says I need to identify the axle, how in the heck do I figure that out? I am thinking the big question is not so much the axle as it is the spindle. Does anyone out there have experience installing Wilwood disc brake kits on staight axle street rods? Are 14" wheels gonna be a problem?
