insulation/sound deadening
What's a good product to use for insulation and sound deadening on the inside of my doors and body panels. I know you can order original stuff from like chev's of the 40's but in 50 years there's got to be something new out there. Thanks

J.C.Whitney has a product that is similar,if ot the same as Dynomat. It's in the interior section of their catalog. It sells for $29.99 for a pc. thats approximately 32"x40".
I have used both Dynomat & JCW,both work equally well.Don Meyer, PhD-Mech Engr(48 GMC Trk/chopped/cab extended/caddy fins & a GM converted Rolls Royce Silver Shadow).

or there is a product available from Lowes or Home depot that is designed for roofing repairs, I understand it is very similar, not sure what its called but have heard of guys using it for this purpose...
I'll see if I can round up some info and post it for ya.....

This stuff seems to be available at Canadian Tire in Ontario----I called and they have it in stock. It is a BAKOR product, and if you go to the link I am pasting and click on the skylight of the house, it will let you read about it. http://bakor.com/residentialproducts.aspOld guy hot rodder

The above link is compliments of FMXhellraiser......I was on another thread like this and someone linked it to this thread. But yeah all I hear is good things about that stuff HWORRELL posted so don't overlook it, and it's cheap.

If you wan't something done right, then you have to do it yourself!
Sorry for your loss of friend Mike McGee, Shine. Great trans men are few and far between, it seems. Sadly, Mike Frade was only 66 and had been talking about retirement for ten years that I know...
