1955 Chevy !/2 ton pick up truck
Hi, I am new to this site so I am not sure what I am doing so bear with me. I have a question about my 1955 chevy 3100 1/2 ton stepside pick up truck. When I bought the truck it had a piece of plywood in the bed. I repainted the truck last year but did not have the money to redo the bed at that time. I have since bought the wood and the straps to redo the truck bed but I do not know exactly how the wood is bolted in. I have figured out how the boards go in the bed but I am not sure how the straps go and if you have to put the boards all together and then put them in the bed as agroup or if you can put one board at a time in. If someone could give me instructions or could post some pictures of the bed as it should be I would be very appreciative. ThanksRich Caswell
