Heard a "tink" sound when downshifting (column) my 66 Nova. My neutral safety switch is now broken and I've bypassed the switch so the car will start. After removing the position adjustment screw, I thought the switch assembly would just pull out of the steering column. Nope...is there a trick to it or should I just pull harder? Also, can I buy these new or is it off to the junkyard? Thanks!:confused:
