Vintage air ?'s and color opinions
If i get a vintage air setup or the likes, do they mount in the existing old heater control holes in the cowl? i guess what i'm wondering is can i smooth out my cowl now and not regret it when i try to put in A/C.
second, what do you guys think of this color setup? someone on here did this for me on the House of Kolor software and i love it. we are torn between this or going with yellow. Both have been overdone i know but this is what its come down to, i gotta get the motor painted and the bottom and the cowl on the cab painted.Seth

Looks nice,......but not stunning. I like the design, I just prefer rich color. I think you should be proud of it like this, though.

Its a good-looking paint color combo. Yellow is everywhere. Yours looks classy. There is no substitute for cubic inches

Vintage Air and other similar systems are generic. This means you need to make your mounting system for the evaporator assembly under the dash. You will also need to have a bulkhead (V/A sells a nice billett piece) to run the A/C lines thru. I have seen a fews cars and trucks that ran these lines thru the cowl and the inner fender to keep the firewall completely smooth.
The control unit mounts where you want it to. Some of their Tru-Fit systems have control units that mount in the factory location in the dash, but I'm not sure if this applies to your truck.
As for color, the only opinion that matters is yours. I like the blue and silver. Yellow is over done.---Tom
