small plasma cutter??????
I saw a small plasma cutter advertised in a car mag few months ago( car craft or hot rod i think) and I cant remember the company name, it was a real small unit, not much bigger than a lunchbox lol, has anybody else seen it?? or know the name or model number???/ I was gona look one up online to see bout prices but forgot about it an cant find the magazine! I appreciate any help, thinkin bout buyin my own since our bos wont get one and figured itd be easier to keep the lil one under my toolcart, unless its to pricey$$$

You might check out Daytona Mig in Daytona, Fl. Several years ago I bought a 110volt Plasma Cutter from them. They are usually at all the NSRA events, at least in the south.

We just bought a Miller.....what a toy! Everything in the shop has holes cut in it now..... we have cut 3/16 steel with excellent results as well as sheet metal. I think it was on sale at about $1K.
Tip: the cut is much smoother if you build a template to use as a guide.....akin to a router template

You might be thinking about a Henrob welder which will cut like a plasma cutter. Very small unit. I saw it demonstrated at the Street Rod Nationals--quite impressive what it can do with a skilled operator.
