i know this is a frequently asked question but i need some help i have a 53 ford customline and i want to convert it and i was woundering if any one could give me a check list or something like that for what i have to change or do and also some websites where i can order parts for my car
If ya need more, Speedway motors sells the compleate 6 to 12 volt conversion guide.
Or, you can change the whole system to 12V.
Alt, Batt, Gauges, lights etc, and then re-wire it.
I like to wire. Thats why I say that.
I think about all you have to change, is generator, starter, bulbs, and you'll need a reducer circuit for the guages. unless you wanna change them out too.
