best way to ship an engine
Been thinking about shipping my engine across the country. Was wondering if anyone out there had done it before, and how much it costs, who to use as a freight carrier and any tips I could use. I figure she weighs about 800lbs complete dry, and I would be making the crate to put it in. Thanks.460_Fan

Try freightquote.com ,
I've been shipping bike motors that Iv'e bought and they are by far the easiest and cheapest I've found........

I've used www.forwardair.com to ship motors, transmissions and axles. Prices were the best I could find at the time.Chuck P

Thanks for the ideas fellas460_Fan
Ditto on the model kits! My best were lost when the Hobby Shop burned under suspicious circumstances....
How did you get hooked on cars?
