Getting 1/4's at bodyshop?

Back a couple of years ago, I was told that 1 of our local body shops can order 1/4's and other repair panals for variouse vehicles ( new and old ), does anybody know where they might what there suppliers are? I'm still looking for the 1/4's for my Falcon and none of the resto catalogs list them, so I'm running out of options on fixing them, if I cannot find them, I will just cast the still good side wheelwell with some fiberglass and make a patch for the driver side which is 75% gone on the lip until I can ither get it repaired with metal or they start making 1/4's for it.

Usually commercial places like "fit rite" will carry the older quarter "skins". If your not a commercial body shop, they will not sell to you.

So that would be why I would have to order them through the bodyshop. I'll have to call and see if they can get them.

I would buy the '66 that you have listed but, kinda like to keep my '67 as a daily driver, to build the '66 I would need to use parts from my '67 to do it cheap enough.

Matt, try www.macksautoparts.com or www.autokrafters.com The last one lists more parts for Falcons than I thought existed.

try doing a search for mill supply. and shermans that's who my body supply places order their stuff from..

All of Sherman's parts are for '60 to '65 Falcons. They have nothing for '66 to '70 models.

Matt, in this case, look for good, clean USED quarter panels. This can be had from salvage yards in AZ or GA, etc. These will run about $800 or less a piece plus shipping (truck freight). They are cut oversized so the body shop can cut and trim at the factory welds. This is far more expensive, but the panels are out there.

I could email rocky mountian relics ( in Colorado ) and see if they got a set, and get a quote. 800 bucks is too steep for my budget on the car right now. I will do the quick fix for now, and give myself a little funding for this, so I can eventullty fix them right. I don't have that kind of funding right now
