Im currently swapping the MFI from a 1988 firebird the production year is 11/87 to my 1978 firebird. I was wondering if this car had the vats system on it or something like that. I'm putting just the intake and fuel system, along with the engine wiring harness and ecm. The VIN on the 88 is 1G2FS21F2JL214351. It had the 305. I know that im going to have to slot drill the intake to fit the heads and put bigger injectors since i have a 350 and a different fuel pump along with various sensors. I've read that this car dose and dose not have the VATS system. I'm just getting conflicting info. Also is there any books or material out there i can get to read up on the swap. Any help would be much needed. Thanks
