I know this is a shot in the dark but does anyone know if you can fit a 27.5" radiator in a '62 C10?

what size rad. is in it now?
other question would be how is it mounted with flat tabs on the sides or like the mid 70s gms with upper and lower mounts??
i think a 62 would have side tabs .
its 26" X 22 overall and theres a 27.5 x 19 on ebay from jegs and its a pretty good deal so i was hopeing it would fit
Without some more info there is no way of knowing. What does the one on ebay fit? I'd say you will have to do some fabricating to make it fit,Quote:

All it says is its a GM style, i figured i would have to do some cutting
its more to it than that, i think you have top flow rad. and most rad. now are cross flow. whole dif. ball gane. you need to know more about what he has and what you have. i got a feeling they are not close.Quote:

i thought they were both top flow the radiator is (555-51174) in Jegs. why does it matter?
thats a cross flow, it matters because it mounts dif. so its not gonna bolt in.Quote:

crap! so how does it bolt in and what does it require?
its no easy way to change it over, if you dont have a welder and torch you would be better off getting a rad. that will bolt in.Quote:

where is a good place to find one?
lt1s10 is right.
the 62 should have 2 brackets the hold the radiator on the top one near each end and bolt to the support.
the radiator from ebay bolts from the sides . if you have enough clearence to fit the radiator in the truck you will haveto build new brackets from the truck to the radiator's sides. and you may need to chop off the existing brackets as they may interfear with a flush fit.
the becool aluminum radiators require some mods in order to fit anyway.
