Where can I find.....
I'm slowly putting together a '59 Chevy Apache 3100, I want to change the original 4-speed transmission to a later model saginaw, or if possible (which I doubt seriously) a muncie m-22. Problem is, I don't really know what models of cars these trannys came in, i'm sure some of the chevelles, novas, and camaros had them, but what else? My plan is to find a transmission in a wrecking yard. Thanks a lot.

Any from the of the GM clones to the cars you mentioned would be worth looking at along with some of the full sized cars like Impalla SSs from the mid 60's.
An overlooked source for the saginaws are the Vega, Sunbird and Olds Omegas. From about 73 on GM started using the Saginaws in them as opposed to the little german 4 spds.
