I've got a couple of bolts with what I assume to be LEDs (could they be something else??) built into them that function as license plate lights. They were installed by the pervious owner so I have no idea what exactly they are. Need to wire them back into the system. I need to know if they should be wired in series or in paralell.
Any Ideas??

They are NOT the glass bullet lights as you've descirbed. I've seen those before. While these are bullet shaped, they're machined aluminum. At the "tip" of the bullet, there's a cut out for an allen wrench to tighten them. There's a slot cut in the side of the bullet that allows light to come out ans shine on the license plate. I know that with 2 wires, one's gonna go to ground and the other to the power. What I need to know is should they be wired in paralell or in series.

They are most likely 12 volt bulbs and should be wired in a paralell circuit. If I'm wrong you could blow out both bulbs so try them in series first to test them. If they're not very bright then they should be wired in paralell.

They are definately 12V. They were working but I had to yank them out to change my plates. One of the wires for the left light I had to cut where it entered the harness. The wiring on this car has some issues (I hate WIRE NUTZ)... a full re-wire with a Ron Francis kit is a winter project! I figured I could just run both lights from the wiring on the right side rather than having to take apart the harness and fish around for a little 22 gauge wire.
