    49 plymouth brake help--

Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong. I'm putting new brakes. wheel cylinders, etc on my plymouth, I have the front brakes off and have new wheel cylinders and still waiting on the shoes. my problem is the back drums, I can't get them off. I have a heavy duty slide hammer to get the drums off, they didn't move with me pumping hard on the weighted slide. I then took my torch and heated the hub and put a lot of heat on the key way. had the whole center hub glowing red and pumped hard on the slide and it still didn't move. anyone have any knowledge on how to get the rear drums off----------Richie

anyone know a good place to buy brake shoes for a 49 Plymouth----
