1939 Plymouth Brakes
I bought a 1939 Plymouth parts car with the one I am going to fix up. While removing some parts that I need for the "good" car, I found that my parts car was in MUCH better shape then I originally thought. As it turned out, the car had been stored under a tarp that did not reach the front 2 feet or the back 3 feet. So those areas were gone, and the thought was that the rest of the car was in similar condition. To my delight, it is good enough to fix up.
Long story short, is there a more up-to-date brake system that can be swapped onto the original front kingpin?
In our neighborhood, 2 blocks down the hill was a gas station that (to me) all the cool car guys hung out there. 32 coupes, 33 & 34 Fords as well, a sweet 56 Ford Beach wagon that was setup gasser...
