Is there anything good to spray under your car on the rear end, springs, tie rods, etc that will just run off and clean at the same time? Thanks!

Brake clean will work but is expensive, and you still have to use soap and water afer wards. Ware safety glasses and a shield. May I ask why you want to clean these parts.
Everything in general underneath my rod is dusty or gritty and needs to be cleaned, some places has grease buildup too.
Just drive it to a shop and have them steam clean the underside. They'll use low pressure so as not to remove the paint.
Oil eater is name of the stuff I use and its bio.!
I mix some simple green in my power washer, works great!
Hooked on Simple Green and PW here too. plus 1/2 cup in the washing machine with jeans and T-shirts.
You can also get a rattle can of engine degreaser at your local auto parts store. It is water soluble so it washes off and takes the grease and oil with it. That's what I use.
I use engine degreaser also because its easy to find at the store. I need to figure out something else though I dont like how it fades the paint.
Don't use brake cleaner on powdered or painted surfaces.
It will damage them in short order . . . been there, done that....
the title of this thread was a little misleading
 :o :HMMM: Now wheres your mind at?:LOL:Quote:
