ok i'm putting a 502 big block in my 69 El Camino. I'm putting twin turbos and a supercharger in it also. I need to know what type of rearend i should use. Some of my friends are tellin' my that i should use a ford 9. others are just sayin' just chevy gears. Which one would be better????
My personal choice (although not the only option) would be a 9". I would beef up the suspension also. Polyurethane bushings, maybe some tubular control arms. But, you may not want to listen to me ........... before I'm done I might have you building a full tube chassis with a pro mod suspension. :LOL: :LOL: :LOL: :LOL:

I built one of them setups once. Started it up and sucked the darned cat right into the engine.:eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek:

I have seen 8 turbos on a v-8 and 2 blowers on a v-8,.....but never a mix match turbo and a blower ?
Are these 3 too small a units and u are goin to use all 3 to make the boost of a big supercharger or turbo would?
Problee' outta' throw a 150 shot snipper plate on there too, just cuz'. :LOL:
ford 9 is the way to go i would box the stock frame and go with a 4 link and some big sticky tires
I've seen engines with 2 superchargers and 2 turbos on them.
They make a custom sheet metal intake and a supercharge goes on each slope of the intake, then the turbos are off to the side. It looks pretty sweet but I've always heard that 1 big supercharger or 1 big turbo is the way to go. Seems like it would be very very mismannered with that elaborate of a boost system. Why not just put 1 big big super charger/turbo on it?
The 2Turbo/2SCharger setup looks kind of like this if you could use your thinker a little bit:
the * = a turbo, the - = the Cylinder head, and the /\ = sheet metal intake with 2 blowers on
each side
