Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha!!!!
I am home for lunch and had to post this before it got away...
One of our "detail" guys said his Honda VTEC engine is "ported and relieved"...WHAT A JOKE!!! he probably couldn't tell me what it means if his life depended on it!
One of his yuppie friends probably did a lame bowl blend and charged him $500 for it, or better yet, his engine has probably never been apart and he's just faking it.Ensure that the path of least resistance is not you...

I always thought it would be funny to get a big kazoo and attach it to the tailpip of a v8 then drive around sounding like crap, but actually having the balls under the hood to roast the ricersSo I says to myself, self I says...........
...turning around I noticed I wasn't there... so...who was I speaking to ? and if they didn't reply why didn't I ? That remains my greatest concern to this day

Where do they get the money? Credit my man, credit! The hourly guy (nice term for oil change flunkie) is in school to be a technician (no, they don't teach you to be a mechanic anymore) and he has a civic (i think...they all look alike) with the wheels, grapefruit shooter pipe, and other 'mods' (red painted calipers, neon, LEDs in stead of door lock buttons, yellow painted dash, etc). He has NO MONEY. You see, mommy and daddy help make the car payment, and his credit cards are stuffed with the other goodies.
back in the day when i was that age, youngins couldn't get a credit card, and my first credit card had a limit of $500. can't do nuthin with that!!
Today I can have my revenge (wife permitting...). Am buying a used minivan, and found out my credit union will finance ANY car - even classic and antique(they says so themselves they do yessir) - if'n i wants to spend 25 grand, i kin gets me an 8 year loan at 4.99%!!!
I kin even refi a car i already own!!
now to pay off the minivan BEFORE it needs replaced...Chris
Only the dead fish go with the flow.
Ditto on the model kits! My best were lost when the Hobby Shop burned under suspicious circumstances....
How did you get hooked on cars?
