Quick Q:
The use of coiling the brake lines off the master cylinder. Is this to help the lines adapt to any movement. I have noticed a lot of brake lines coming off the master bent into the shape of a coil, but not all. Please explain.Justin RFFR

I think it does allow for some flex and prevents the lines from breaking off at the fittings where they enter the master cylinder. Also, I think it is done to simplify manufacturing. Every car will have slight dimensional differences, so the lines are made slightly too short with the coil and can just be stretched by hand to compensate.
