stock was 2.94".
I had a late crank offset ground to 3.20" using long stock rods and pistons with relocated pins.
The cylinders are Salih 3 9/16" for VW with reground decks and bolt holes.
If I can keep valve seats in it, it should be a strong runner.
Having gone thru that The major problem it getting the fuel to the motor. The last time I saw Seth was at the fan belt toss in Calif. At that time I think the big boys were using weber 3 hole carbs & Porsche verticle fan for cooling. Big bucks.

I'm already a V.V. member. I don't know what I would have done without them.
The last Corvair rolled off the line five years before I was born, so help from "old timers" who have been there is most helpful.
P.S....did anyone get the pic in my "signature" line yet???
