Tea cart Gen 2
If you work from a tea cart, you know what a PITA it can be when the tool you need is on the bottom of the pile... this idea struck me this morning, when I ran a metal scribe up under my thumbnail while digging for a socket.(DAAAAAAMIT)
I know, it's that "W" material, but if the concept works out I'll build one out of a proper material, say 1 inch square tube, and 24" X 36" rather than 24 square. The beat goes on... Paul

Nice work,I like things that organize and that looks like a winner ,takes up little room and holds alot!!!!!

I like it! Looks good, keeps everything real handy and looks affordable. I'd like one but I'd have to sell my wife's car to make room for it in the garage.  Not likely to happen as the possibility of pain scares me.

Are you ganna put castors on it? For mobility?......don't let my 7 year old near it, it will be as bare as it was when you started it....he "needs" to "fix" things around the house...

I'm with you Paul, I have a few rolling tool chests, but really only keep the stuff in there I use less often. I like my everyday hand tools out where I can get to them, so I took a large rolling tray cart from HF, and attached a big piece of pegboard to the back to hold all my wrenches and stuff. I put socket organizers in the tray part and keep my 1/4- 3/8/- and 1/2 socket stuff there.
I like your idea a lot, and you won't be digging under a pile for your tools.
