Howdy Group,
I have a 1968 Ford Galaxie 500 Fastback with a stock 302 V8. I want to install an electronic ignition system (HEI). I am looking for the easiest to install and most fool-proof system. It would be nice to keep the "look" stock, but most important is reliability, then ease of installation and then cost... looks is dead last.:3dSMILE:
So does anyone have any advice??:confused:
There's always a bunch of Ford plug and play HEI's on eBay that use the GM style coil built in, simple two wire hook up and about $80.00 or less....
Here's a thread on another forum that may be helpful. I bought one for my 302 but don't have it installed yet. I'm anxious to see how it's going to work but it's going to be a while......will report more when I know.
