Anti-fog from Rain-X works well.Quote:

I have the same problem, in a big way---with my auto darkening welding helmet. Someone over on the HAMB solved the problem by adding a small computer fan to the top of their helmet!!!--it blows fresh air down over their face and keeps the moisture from fogging the lens up inside.
We use to use Lemon Pledge but over time it builds up and leaves a haze on the shield.Quote:

Rain-x /fog-x ..is a good product and has worked for me ,about a year long per coating ,but I live in a very mild climate.
Rain x is a good idea but that means another trip to the store and I am right in the middle of it. Any house hold products? I tried a potato (heard about it some where dont remember) but it did not work. I tried a thin layer of soap also but it still did not work. I guess rain x it is.
Quit breathing???????
What R U Watching That Makes It Fog Up???
Is this a blasting hood?
If so, an air supply to the hood will stop that.
At least that's how the commercial rigs work.
Be sure to wear earplugs!!
Now that is the $100 question.Quote:
