Found a Dana 60 under a 1968 Ford 250 truck, and got it for a few bucks. I now it is a 3:73 Posi. I know its a full floater, but I will hang new Ford big ends on the tubes after its cut. That will cure that. Question is does this have the big 9 1/4 ring gear or is there anything unwanted about this rear end. I mean the truck vs the car Dana 60?
The Dana 60 has a 9.750 ring gear It is the King .
coporate 14 bolt is bigger aint it? :D ive got a dana 60 with 410 posi thinking of putting it in the nova and putting the 12 bolt into the vega......
The only things not wanted are the weight and size.
By the time you cut it, get axles and brakes you maybe could of used something else for less money
