Actron tools
Whats goin on everyone?
Does anyone here have experience with actron tools? I am looking for a compression gauge, vacuum/pressure gauge, and a mechanic's stethoscope (got tired of using a screwdriver) I realize Snap-on, Cornwell and others are the best of the best, but I am not a professional mechanic and would by no means use these tools day in day out. I understand the principle "you get what you pay for" but I am not willing to fork over $200 on a compression gauge
What I need is a quality tool that will work, accurately, when I use it.
From what I have read, Actron specializes in the ECU readers/reprogrammers. Their "old school" tools seem up to snuff.

My grandfather, mom's side, drove a 39 Plymouth coupe when I was about 4 or 5 and I thought it was pretty cool and I loved the tail fins on the 49 Cadillac. I drew cars when I was in the 5th and 6th...
How did you get hooked on cars?
