Door latches

I just bought after market bear claw latches for my 30 Model A Fordor and now realize they don't have lock mechanisms built in. So my question is does anybody know of a better solution? I like the bear claw style latch but I want to be able to lock the doors from the inside (just like a modern car).

Any help would be appreciated.

I just asked my Son about this for you, he has used a few in different cars he has built. He tells me you can get locking or non locking versions. A company like Autoloc carries them.

I wanted the locking features also, and I wanted them to be Power Locking. With the limited about of space in the Door that my Car has I went with the Slimlines-you might look here-great Folks to work with-
