What shifter is in your sons RPU?
Thanks
Harmon
It was a Gennie, but he sold it on Ebay and is going to do something else. Not sure what yet.
Don
I don't knwo if they make a preformed one, it is a C6 transmission in a 51' Ford F1 with a Lokar shifter on it. I don't have access to a roller (and my metalworking skills are in there infancy) so I figured I'd do mine with sides angled in and then a flat top (will accommodate the boot for the sifter better with a flat top).
I like the way your son did it Itoldyouso, that might work for me. I can't do the rolls like that of course, but the rod would probably help me a lot.
Thanks guys, this is great. I wish one of you lived close enough that I could come over with a case of beer and watch how some of this gets done.
