anyone heard of --soloan kwik-load trailers???????

I trailer place near me bought a different dealer's place that was going out of business, & are selling all of that dealer stock at cost or less.

anyways they have this really nice tilt bed trailer for sale (marked down really cheap).. the maker is soloan kwik-load trailers.(has anyone heard of them) you are suppose to be able to load cars with only 4" ground clearance!!!!!!!!!!( great for all my streetrods) the trailer itself is...... 18' long, extra wide, with 4 d rings in bed, sliding d rings on tracks mounted on the side of trailerbed , it has two storage areas in the front, down in the floor, spare tire mount,electric brakes on both axles, removable fenders. and a few more options, I put a deposit down on it. it hold it. but want make sure it is a good trial before I buy it...

MY QUESTION IS.. .. does anyone have any personal expeirence with these trailers? how do you like them? any problems? are they good trailer to hual hotrods & low sitting cars?

I don;t need any harassment from you guys! I drive my cars to ALL the shows, but once in a while you need a trailer ...hauling projects to paint shop, hualing parts, bring new d.o.a. project cars home, etc........

What size tubing is the trailer frame made of??? Don't think brand matters much on trailers anymore, they're all quite similar.... Sounds like some good options on it, and I really like the brakes on both axles!!!!!

PS---I have 3 trailers, a 28' enclosed, 22' open, and a 10' utility type..... Wouldn't want to be without any one of them. They all serve their purpose quite well.... I DON'T drive my car to all the shows, anything overnight or more then 100 miles or so, it goes in the trailer.... and I'm not even ashamed of it!!!!!!

And I don't think anybody here at CHR would give you "harassment" for trailering anything ... unless they are from that other board and was just here to learn something before going back to flex. :LOL:

Sorry...never heard of the trailer make. Hey! Don't let the trailering thing bother you. There are a lot of reasons that trailering makes sense, and in the end, it only has to matter to you. I trailer mine if it's more than 50 miles, and for all overnighters. It has never seen a wet road, and it's my preference to keep it that way as long as I can. I also prefer to keep the mileage to mostly cruising, just to hold it down a bit. The shorter cruises to area towns and my being 12 miles from the city provides me with the desireable amount of highway speeds. Good luck with the trailer!

treekiller, the trailer I'm looking it is different, the "bed" itself is onrollers in a track connected to the axles. to lower the bed you have to pull the locking pin on the sideon the trailer, then get in the truck & lock the trailer brakes, while locking the trailer brakes.. back the truck up, this will then slide the "bed" back & down to the ground., you then can drive or winch your car onto the "bed" it will stay up until you get in the truck, pull it forward to put the "bed" back to normal position (still having the trailer brakes locked. hope i explained it well enough to understand :LOL: :whacked:

Sounds like and looks like a Texas Rollback trailer. Similar principal. Size sounds about the same, too. Never hear of a Sloan Kwik Load though.

i think they are the exact same thing, probably are texas rollbacks, just differnet stickers(middleman). went ahead & bought it, soon as i got it loaded my 57 truck front bumper is 4" off the ground, drove up & loaded fine!!!!! it is the easiest trailer i have ever used. paid alot more they what the cheap trailers sell for, but it is 100% better built trailer!!!! will be kepping this one!!!!!!!!!!
