I own a 1977 Ford F100 truck with a new crate GM 355 engine and a Turbo400 tranny - don't ask!:whacked:
It currently has stock exhaust manifold. Can someone steer me in the correct direction to the best headers for this situation?:confused:
Please - no jokes about Fords vs Chevys - I have heard then all!:LOL:

we put a 400 sbc in a 73 ford i should not be hard to find header to work shorty block hugers should work or even a set for a truck ? got a photo i think the steering box is in the way of 5and 7 ports ?
How about block huggers, or tite tube, type headers (also known as shorty headers)
Chevy vs Ford thing, Hey it's cool, do what you want, it's yours. I do. I own both! :D

It looks alot better than in the picture, painted it Hemi orange, I removed the water pump & water cross over, I use twin electric water pumps, I put a Hilborn fuel pump on the timming cover, only a alt off the crank pulley, I made a valley cover, I made the dist, it a gm small hei with the hemi bottom. Rechromed oem Fire Power valve covers & new Hilborn bells. I have but not installed yet is a Venom piggy back dry system nos.

I have used adapter headers for a sbc in a c-j jeep ...they are fenderwell style and hug up close to the frame , exhaust is simple and there are no pipes in the way of the trans or driveshafts ........

try a set of 69 camaro headers they are rear steer
