Just found the driver side rear corner that I've been looking for over a year.
Great junk yard find in Arizona, could'nt belive it when they said they had my part. Don't know if I can say thier name, but they specialize in hard to find rust free parts for you restorers. Here is there web site.

They bought out an old time local junkyard here in PA roughly 5 years ago. Hauled away something like 200 "vintage" cars. Seems they have scouts out looking for these forgotten yards so they can snatch up what they can before it's all sold for scrap overseas.

I know my phone bill was getting high, calling all these other states.
Thought I would end up using fibor glass, glad I did'nt have to.
Those 65 Ranchero's are getting harder to find parts for.

There is another yard that does much the same thing here in Arizona, Hidden Valley Auto Parts in Maricopa, Arizona. I love to go there and just walk through. Memories, memories. :)
DVAP is in Mesa... I wouldn't buy engine parts from them again. I ordered a cyl head for a '78 Ford granada 200.. they sent me 1- cracked, sent me another- cracked only the second time I didn't find the crack until the machine shop found it and was going to put in the bronze seats. that time they told me to send it back ( my cost ) and they would refund. because they couldn't help me anymore.. I did that, and there pretty good to deal with... I ended up paying $35 for a cylinder head from a U pull it junkyard and, it was not cracked
DVAP is north of Phoenix in Deer Valley. I'm sure with all the salvage yards aquisitions going on around here they may have their hands in somebodies pocket. The one he got his piece from is far from Mesa.
Your right... When I was ordering parts for my 200 I6 engine, I was getting the high performance stuff from Classic inlines and I ordered the cyl head from DVAP.. Classic Inlines is in Mesa.. just got them mixed up.Quote:
