Remote Master Cylinder Reservoir

Seriously, why is it so frickin' hard to find a remote master cylinder reservoir? I found a nice billet one months ago but Rick said he didn't want one then, now he does and I can't remember where I found it. anybody got sources?

thanks vara, I had found that one but was trying to find a polished one, figured it would match the valve covers better. I already googled, got exactly those results, I should have been more specific, was looking for a good looking polished billet one. I was hoping that the guys here had used them and had some more finally found 3 options, none cheap. in case anybody else ever searches this.

I'm using one from here http://www.aplusrodandkustom.com/. You have to go into the products section, then click on safety and it's the 5th page. Mine came with the 4' braided steel line for the price they are advertising without the line now. Make up your own line for less and the length you need. The mounting plate and 45* seen rather then a straight fitting were added - I screwed up and mounted it too low when I mismeasured while the body was off.

thanks man. my uncle had knee surgery but is almost up to getting in a car, supposed to come over and look at the options and decide which one he likes the look of the most. Now thanks to you guys I have a few extra options to give him. it's pricey but beats the creeper and a turkey baster :D

I bought one that was used on a ducati motorcycle...not as pretty, but a quality piece nonetheless. Search the internet (eBay) for something for use on a chopper or other motorcycle type of project.

actually there is a motorcycle junkyard here in town, I wonder if any of the reservoirs would work, I don't know how we'd tell if the lower reservoir were full, but I'm sure it could be adapted to work. most bikes have pretty utilitarian reservoirs, but if I can find an aluminum one I know somebody that works for an anodizer......

Regardless of the brand, as long as the upper reservoir is full, the bottom is as well once the air is gone
