That would explain the roll "cage". I especially like the single hood pin punched in the middle. Makes me wonder if the car was already kinda beat when they made it a "racer".Quote:

Why not just leave the "patina"?? Think of how you could ruffle the feathers of the purists at a car show with the first RAT ROD PANTERA!!!!!!! :D :D :D
A couple of Craftsman wrenches for suspension pieces, a spider web or two and a Mexican blanket..........BINGO, instant rat rod!!
Don
Don, you have a warped sense of humor.
Don
I say when Dan and you finish your current projects.....think of the fun. And now you have a place for that old 460 gathering dust!
Must have cut the budget some on the fire suppression system eh?:)Quote:

If the skin is usable, it could be dropped on an s10 frame, have a big block dropped in it, with straight header pipes too!:3dSMILE: We could start a new trend, and do a de lorean next!:3dSMILE:
Such sacralidge could be fun:eek: :3dSMILE:
Not to burst your bubble, but the Pantera is a mid engined, rear transaxle driven drivetrain. To attempt to fit an engine in the bonnet (front trunk area) would be a feat not likely to succeed .................Quote:
