How to wire a few components

I have a 65 Chevelle with a 327. Under the hood I have a Holley carb with an electric choke, dual electric fans and an MSD ready-to-run billet distributer. The problem is all of these components ask to be wired to the "IGN" tab on the fuse box. I only have 2 "IGN" tabs and three components that need to be wired here. Can I hook up 2 wires to one tab like the choke and fan wires and wire up the distributer on the other tab?? I am not a very good electrician!! Any suggestions would be welcome. Thanks in advance.

One thing, use a relay for the fans. Yes, you can run several things off of one terminal, but I would use a separate fuse for each one. You can do this by running one wire off of your existing ignition post to a separate fuse block with a few more fuse positions in it. Then you can dedicate each fuse to a particular accessory.

I can't stress using a relay for the fans enough, and also for other high draw accessories like electric fuel pump, headlights, horn, etc.

Visit the Watsons Streetworks website they have an excellent tech article about relays and can sell you the components you need,no chinese junk either!

Thanks for the info gents. I bought the fans and it came with a wiring and relay kit. I gotta read up on relays cause I dont really know how they work or how to add extra relays in the future.

One more question. How do I hook up two wires to one "IGN" tab. The tabs are the spade-type. Do I hook up two wires to one spade connector and plug it in? Or is there a different way of doing this? I also heard I can connect the fan to the "ACC" tab. Is this true? If I can, I wont have to worry about doubling up on the "IGN" tab.

Like Don said above - run 1 wire from the IGN (or ACC) terminal to a separate fuse block, then you will have a source with 3-4 more FUSED choices. Just use enough wire gauge size. A small fuse block at Auto Zone plus fuses is less then $10.

Ok, I got the fuse box. It has " 6 circuits, 30 amps per circuit" What size fuses do I need. Im refering to the amperage or voltage. I bought a small box with different fuses. They range from 15 to 40 . Thanks a lot for the info .

That means that you can run 30 amps in any or all of the circuits, but I wouldn't do that unless I was using at least 12 gauge wire for the initial hook up of the fuse box.
