Help on tires
I am looking to buy some tires for my 69 SS Chevelle. I purchased a set of SS rims for the car. The rim size it 14x7. This car will not be driven in bad weather and would like to have a RWL tire. From called some dealers, I have been recommended Goodyear GT II, Firestone INDY 500, and BFGoodrich TAs. Please let me know your opinions. Thanks, Vinman69ss

FIRESTONE
Why dont you use an old factory made ...Firestone Wide Oval 60.
They where the most used on the 70' era of musclecars...you can find them at http://www.coker.com

I Agree with Streets for once. Also, michelin makes a good touring tire. Just dont put them on any explorers.Right engine, Wrong Wheels

yeah, what Goat said!!! Coker tires are kewl if you want the resto look. Otherwise, 15X33's on the back and Eagle Front Runners are a nice combination.Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Learning must be difficult for those who already know it all!!!!
In our neighborhood, 2 blocks down the hill was a gas station that (to me) all the cool car guys hung out there. 32 coupes, 33 & 34 Fords as well, a sweet 56 Ford Beach wagon that was setup gasser...
How did you get hooked on cars?
