Mustang Project?
This is driving me crazy..Does anyone remember a '65-'66 Mustang Project that was in Popular HotRodding about the early to mid '70's?? It had a 289cid/289hp build and Recarro seats...red of course...I'd love to find those back issues...just for those articles...any ideas would be appreciated

Did you do a search in there archives . But i did get some old editions on ebay but not this one in particular sounds like a pretty basic build though . Was it a custom body or specialty build of some type .

Bobby:
I did search their website; to no avail...also, looked at e-bay..close.. but not quite. If I recall correctly; it was somewhere in the early/mid '70's ... we now would refer to the project as a resto-mod. I just liked the package as a whole. Sure hope someone can come up with an answer.

I do like that Street Fighter version...as far as having a Mustang now...NO;sorry to say...just missed a deal on one. But; I'm still optomistic I can find what I need. Truth is, I only have a '97 Wrangler as a bargaining chip...very little money!! Most all of my money was used up trying to pay for my doctors.(cancer)...and since being Medically retired..really fixed income..it's a squeeze to keep my dreams going...however; I am not giving up. Somewhere there is a good 'stang I can use as a daily driver and work on one piece at a time.
Thanks for helping I really appreciate it!!!

Rick sorry to hear about cancer. My my died of it, my mother in law lost a breast to it, and my Dad lost his vocal cords to it. It's a crappy disease that I hope you have kicked! Hang in there there are lots of stangs still out there, waiting for you to come along at the right time!
