Hi Everyone! I saw an article in a car mag that was plugging a place that did powder coating, something new was used in the process & it looked almost exactly like chrome. I can't find the article :(... The only drawback was {at the time} they could only do smaller parts because of the size of the unit that they did the process in. Does anyone remember anything about this place? It was in the Los Angeles area. Orange County maybe? I read it probably about a year ago. Maybe two? Thanks! ;) Bill
Might try calling a few powdercoating shops to see if they have heard of it, and know who does it. Might get lucky.

They use a system of throwing the coated parts into a tub of tumbling smooth balls....:eek: No not that kind.......:LOL: .....If I remember they are a plastic ball or something, anyway, it polishes the ceramic coating to a high gloss finish.
I had them do a single carb tunnell ram for me and it turned out GREAT...:D
Here is the tunnell ram...it is slightly rough because I did not smooth it prior to sending it to them, but the shine is excellent and I never had to touch it.....:3dSMILE:

Bill, check out Nitro Plate, they're in Nashville,TN though. They use the process like to-qwk mentioned. Their stuff looks real good.
