I have aquired a couple tools that I do not even know what they are used for. Can anyone define thier name and or use, any insight would be appreciated. The first 2 are the same tool but both sides. The 3rd and 4th are the whole tool and also the writing on the handle, shaft, whatever it is. Probably never use them just want to know in case I should run across the situation.
The first is a ridge reamer - used to trim the "lip" on the top of a cylinder caused by the rings wearing against the cylinder. Still in use in some applications.
The second is a telescopic bore gauge, used to measure taper in the cylinder bore. (Probably not so useful.)
