I have tried welding sheetmetal and it's been too hot, I've tried welding 3/16 plates and it's been too cool. I am pulling my hair out trying to figure out the settings on this Miller and on this wire feeder. Help!!!!!!!!!!

Get some scrap and practice with it, changing the heat and wire feed settings till you get a good weld.... Welding sheet metal is usually a matter of lots of tacks rather then trying to run a bead....
Thanks for the suggestions, however I have done all that. What I need is for someone with a Miller like mine who can suggest the settings I should use for both applications.
Wire feed is not to hard in low heat setting . If the gun is trying to push back turn down wire if its arcing on and off turn it up . Do this in slight increments . When welding sheet metal do this at a 45 degree angle to work , this will stop the wire from pushing thru your weld .
As Dave has said sheet metal is just tacks building it up and filling in seem takes a while . Need to tack in some let it cool then come back and fill some more . Again as he said practice on some scrap while adjusting settings of temp and wire feed .
The machine did not come with setting recomendations?
i can give you feed and wire speed off my 250x but is at the shop . i have to run it very low and 030 wire or i just cut thru thin sheet if the metal is let say .100 thick you want your amps just under that try 60to 80 amps and wire speed play with it keep adding speed on the wire till you here a steady cracking sound i allway s fine tune mine with scrap steel. looks like your amp setting is at 225 that set up for 1/4 to 5/16 plate or so you want to be at 150 or about for 3/16 and for sheet you will just about be turn off
Eastwood sells copper weld back plates which might help. You put them behind the weld, and they pull heat. Helps stop warpage, and burn-outs.

I have not seen or used a welder like yours so it is new to me, just trying to throw out some ideas to help you. Are you using gas ( argon mix) and what size wire? We use .030.I have used both Millers and Lincolns and when you open the door where the wire spool is it gives you all of the settings,wire size,gas or no gas and all the info you need to know. Hope this helps
I believe I do OK when it comes to welding, but not to long ago I was not happy with my welds using my mig. I took it to have it check out and the guy said I was using the wrong wire for the way the welder polarity was set, on a 208 / 230 1ph welded.
I didn't know that you have options on a 1ph welder.
Check and make sure the polarity is set right.
Flux core wire has a different setting than non flux core wire using gas shielded.
At least when I got to welding again, what a difference.
Fluxcore usually runs electrode -, and electrode+ for mig with gas on steel.
