I have a 29 model A been chopped and a new roof put on ... the roof from the middle of the car forward is great but from that point back it is "ugly" wavy... I have a metal strut across on the inside in the middle the rest are bowed wood. now I noticed yeasterday when taking a closer look that the 3 struts towards the back are almost flat not bowed like the rest of them I can acutally push up on them and it makes a very big difference in the way the roof looks not as "ugly" of course when released they fall back down... now the ones in the front that are wood are very rigid is it possible that someone replaced these with some softer wood? I was wondering if there are metal ones I can but and screw on top of the wood pulling/pushing the roof into place? or is there somewhere I can by the correct ones?? Or does anyone have any other ideas?

thanks,
simon
