I have a few more tools that I have no idea what they are for. # 3 the case is labled so I know it is a digital tachometer. But I am not sure why there is such a thing, except maybe for knowing the exact RPM from under the hood tweeking. #4 has a slide hammer effect, maybe for a seal or bearing driver.

#1 stud remover and installer #2 weatherhead fitting sockets 45 and 90 deg. #3 tach to set idle speed on Detroit diesels #4 clutch aligning tool changeable tip is for different size pilot brg. #4 fly wheel turning tool diesel trucks merry christmas ted

One-----stud installer/remover going back to early flat head ford days--my dad had one in the 40s
two---if I remember--these are used for petcocks---radiator/blocks, elbows,etc
four---clutch disc alighment tool--has different size ends to fit different pilot bearing sizes--taper fits any disc---won't work on multidisc clucch

What does the stud look like on a flat head? And what does the other side of that remover look like...very cool!

Thanks for all the identifying help everyone. Thes are some tools of my Father in laws, who recently passed away. He was an auto mechanic and deisel mechanic for 50 years or so. And had a lot of stuff I have never seen before, obviously so. (Sorry IC2 these are probably not your missing tools.)

I didn't get 4. The rest were pretty easy.

Hell I've got 2 of them and even occasionally use them

Photos 1, 2 and 4 - have you been in my tool box?? I have/had them 'way back when'. 2 & 4 was with of a bunch of tools that were stolen at the drags a bunch of years ago.
